Stream the new Blood Orange Album

Blood Orange became one of my favorite new acts when I saw him play a few times earlier this year. The project comes from Devonte Hynes, formerly of Test Icicles and more recently recording as Lightspeed Champion. On August 20th, he’ll release the debut Blood Orange album, Coastal Grooves on Domino Records. However! It is now out in the UK, and Hype Machine has it streaming this week. Check it out below.

This comes on the heels of a 7″ on Terrible Records, which is now sold out.

Blood Orange has one upcoming scheduled performance: Saturday, August 20, as part of the Warm Up series at MoMA PS1. Also featuring Grimes, Pictureplane, and a DJ set from Ford & Lopatin.
